New requested merchandise

Tonight I plugged in my hotglue gun and besides burning the fire out of my finger, came up with some new headbands. Once again, they will be for purchase at Bright Haven Christian Learning Center. Thank you for your continued prayers for Makenna and her family.

Homespun

Welcome!
I am hoping to post many of my crafts for sale on this site. I will be starting with the crafts that I have made specifically for a fundraiser benefit called "Makings for Makenna".
For those of you that don't know, Makenna is near and dear to my heart. Her mother and I have worked together for a short time and become rather close. Makenna has spinal bifida. On February 14th, her mother took her to a routine doctor's appointment at the Children's Hospital in Little Rock for this condition. It was determined there that Makenna would need to undergo a spinal surgery ASAP. Scary. Invasive. Soon. I think we were all in shock. Makenna is so bright and beautiful. Not even in Kindergarten, and she can read and write at the average of a first grader. She is sweet and adorable. A wonderful child of God.

With this surgery, comes stress, prayers, and you guessed it, BILLLLS.
She will be in the hospital about a week, her mother, Brittany will have to miss work to be with her. If the Ronald McDonald house is unavailable, there will be lodging, and then food, gas, lalala to pay for.
Not to mention bills back home that are stacking up in their absence.
I'm thinking if we can raise $1,500, that would be stupendous. Brittany has told me, hey, $5 would help.
I feel this is a realistic goal along with prayer and the good ole spread of facebook. So we shall spread the word and spread the love.

I will be posting pictures of my items, along with prices, and more and more information on Makenna's situation.
Until then, keep praying. HE is working!!!!!!

Love.
Amber
